StaleSafe works best with heat-sealable plastic and foil-lined bags, including many snack, chip and pantry bags. Results may vary depending on the material and thickness, so begin with a lower heat level and adjust as needed.

How do I use the bag sealer?

Select the appropriate heat level, allow the device to preheat for approximately 3–5 seconds, then press firmly and slide it slowly across the open edge of the bag.

What are the six heat levels for?

The adjustable heat levels allow you to match the temperature and sealing time to different bag thicknesses. Use lower settings for thinner materials and gradually increase the level for thicker bags.

Does StaleSafe vacuum-seal bags?

No. StaleSafe is a heat resealer, not a vacuum sealer. It closes the open edge of compatible bags to help reduce exposure to outside air and moisture.

How is StaleSafe powered?

StaleSafe has a built-in rechargeable 1600mAh battery. The digital display shows the remaining battery level, selected heat mode and sealing countdown.

What is the hidden cutter used for?

The built-in cutter lets you open bags neatly without reaching for scissors. After opening the bag, you can use the same device to reseal it.

First try wasn’t great. I set it to the highest heat and it just cut instead of sealing. Once i lowered the heat, it worked just fine. I’m satisfied so far.
